FAVORITE

Books: I love to read.  Mysteries and Thrillers, Action and Adventure, Classics, a good historical romance novel every now and again.
Food: I like to try all foods at least once.  My favorite is Southern cooked foods
Snack Food: Homemade Trash, popcorn, dips and chips, well…
Music Artist:  I love to listen to all kinds of music, but to name a favorite Music Artist, I would not know their name.  I would have to look up the song first.  Names that come to mind as I think about the question are; Elvis, Joe Cocker, Frank Sinatra, Dean Martin, Martin Smith, Andrae Crouch, etc.

Artist: My favorite artists are: Claude Monet, Van Gogh, Auguste Renoir, Edgar Degas, Edouard Manet, Camille Pissarro. After seeing their work I can understand why people want to steal artwork.  (Not that I ever would, but I understand!).
Times of Day: Sunday afternoons
Season: Fall and Spring
Places in the World: White sandy beaches in Florida’s Gulf of Mexico, mountains in north Georgia & Paris.  If I got to travel to Italy and Greece I think these would be my favorite too.
Place to Pray: I pray everywhere, bathroom, shower, bed, car, church, walking, traveling, outside in quite peaceful places.  I do have a sitting area in my bedroom where I do my Bible study and pray, its quite, peaceful and comfortable.
Recreational Activities/Hobbies: Golf – not very good, but I like to play, snow skiing, walking, biking (fun, easy, take your time biking)  fishing, boating, painting, knitting, crocheting, reading….
Scripture: Deuteronomy 6:5, Love the Lord your God with all your heart and with all your soul and with all your strength ( I like to add mind).  John 3:17 – God did not send his Son into the world to judge the world. He sent his Son to save the world through him.  Psalms 23
Sport: College Football, golf, baseball…Whatever Sam wants to watch on TV or go and see.

LEAST FAVORITE

Food: liver
Time of Day: When the alarm goes off.
Season: ?  I like Summer, except Texas summer when it’s so hot and humid… I walk out the door and my hair goes flat. That’s the only part of the summer season I don’t care for.
Place in the World: I think it would be Saudi Arabia for their total disrespect for woman.  Sam travels over there on business.  He say’s I can’t go with him, because I would be arrested within minutes of entering the county…. I wouldn’t be able to keep my mouth shut. LOL

Best Thing Someone Said to You: was by my Pastor, Dr. Mike Hicks when I got my first paying job as the Director of Children’s and Adult ministry at St. Luke Methodist church in Tupelo MS. After about 6 months or so into the job, I asked Mike if I should go back to school and get a degree in Christian Education.  (My degree was in Art).  His words to me were, “ Belinda, if you want to go back to college you can, but to me you already have a Master’s in Christian Education, with your knowledge and what you have shown me through your work here at St. Luke ”  No one will ever know or understand what those words meant to me! Also,  It gave me God’s answer to my many prayers of what He wanted me to do with my life.

Life Motto: “Christ is our only Hope”.  “You can’t make someone love you”.   “Get UP, Keep GOING”, “We can’t rely or blame people for our happiness….  We are responsible for our own happiness with Christ as our savior.”

Three People I’d Like to Meet: hummmm… My firs…t would be Jesus Christ, but I will see Him one day.  Other’s let me think… Billy Graham for his wisdom, Claude Monet to study art under him.   Albert Einstein for science and his champion of human rights and a more peaceful world.

One of the Things I Find Most Fascinating:  How sound and the human voice comes to us through wireless technology. How in the world did someone figure that out.

One of My Greatest Experiences with God: I had planned on being a Famous Artist or a Brain Surgeon.  But, God had other plans for me.  My continuing,  greatest experiences, is how Christ has and is working in and with me to become a person, who wants to make sure children, special needs children and their family, to know how much Christ loves them.  This has been my greatest experience with God. He has given me the ability to do things that I never thought I could do.  Amazing….

Most People Don’t Know This About Me:   In college, they were looking for some extra girls to be in a beauty contest.  (they were short on girls)  I was asked, laughingly I said okay.  So, I was in a beauty contest and won, Miss Congeniality.  Plus, I have skied down Black Diamond slopes, while snow skiing.   Don’t laugh, I am very shy.  Don’t tell anyone, but I like to watch TV.
