Marriage & Family

The challenge for today's family is to be a place of encouragement, support and love in a world that is not always family-friendly. We desire to pull alongside our families by assisting our parents in building strong marriages along with equipping them to be the spiritual leaders in their homes. Family Life Ministry includes support and resources for Marriages, Families and Parenting.

Marriage

Marriage Coaching is at the heart of our efforts to help couples move forward in their relationship. All marriages have their ups and downs, but there are times when the downs out-weigh the ups. Some couples have never had positive relationships, healthy communication skills or conflict resolution modeled to them. They have no "template" or pattern from which to build their own relationship. Marriage Coaching is designed to show couples how to take their "next step" toward building a healthy marriage.

We also offer referrals for professional counseling, as well as small groups and seasonal seminars.

Family and Parenting

The Bible teaches that parents are called by God to lead their children spiritually. Gateway pulls alongside parents to equip, resource and empower parents to be the spiritual leader in their homes. Together we strive to pass on biblical truths and godly qualities to the next generation.

We believe that the church and family should work together to raise the next generation of Christ-followers.

If the church and the family are to work together to equip the next generation, we need a common path to walk on. We've identified Seven Spiritual Milestones to guide and celebrate our children and their parents as they move forward to become fully devoted followers of Christ.

We also offer Family Connect (for families with young children), and Parenting Articles.
